According to Allheadlinenews.com, “New York, I Love You” will be released October 16. Not sure if on DVD or in the theaters, hope it’s the latter!

We’ve all been waiting and waiting for ‘New York, I love You’ to be released in theaters! But it looks like we might have to wait for it to come out on DVD to see it, says Examiner.com, since Regent Release is could lose money if it is released into theaters. Truth is that to advertise and distribute the film to theaters costs so much for independent movie makers, such as this. “..these small movies never are expected high expectations at the box office so they limit them by just appearing in major cities and instead of marketing them worldwide or statewide…” - Birmingham Film Examiner.
Keep your eye out for when it come on DVD!
I added Everest: A Climb for Peace in the ‘filmography’ page. Orlando narrated the documentary which captures the journey of 9 ‘peace climbers’ from different faiths and cultures as they climb to the summit of the tallest mountain in the world. Orlando’s new role in ‘Sympathy For Delicious’ where he plays the lead singer in a rock band, shows off his new look on set, tatoos and eyeliner, yum! You can see the photos and article here: Daily Mail.
Main Street
Hollywood Reporter.com: Orlando’s next role is set to be in ‘Main Street’. He will star along side Ellen Burstyn, Patricia Clarkson, Colin Firth and Andrew McCarthy. The film will be shot in Durham, N.C. starting this month. The movie is based on Horton Foote’s last work, he was better know as a playwright and wrote screenplays as well.
John Doyle will be directing the film about the residents of Durham, who’s lives are shaken up when a stranger arrives in town. Orlando will play a policeman in the town.
There is also a video clip on the movie coming to shoot in Durham.
