Hello everyone!  Well to start off, some very sad news.  Our co-webbie, Marquita, has decided to depart from Orliness due to personal issues.  I am very sad to see her go, but sometimes you need to do what you need to do.  I hope to see her back in here one day and I know everything will work out for her.

I will try ver hard not to leave this site in the dust.  I have been very busy as of late with a new job and I am also leaving on the 6th of the month for vacation and I will not be back until the 18th.

i know its been such a long time since i last posted but alot of sad stuff has been goin on in my personal life that was keepin me away from the site.  Ashley, being the understandin person that she is, told me to take my time, so i did that but i know i cant neglect the site forever so here’s some news for you guys.

Johnny Depp was voted in a poll as the UKs favorite actor over Daniel Craig(who reportedly cut off the tip of his finger on the set of the new ‘Bond’ movie), Sirs Anthony Hopkins & Sean Connery, and our fave elf Orlando.  sux i know but the weird thing is, Johnny isnt even British!!!  congrats Johnny!!!

Role for ‘Prince of Persia’

Rumor has spread that Orlando has landed the $40 million lead role in Disney’s new film trilogy, ‘Prince of Persia: The Sands of time’, based on the popular video game. He was up against Zac Efron for the role. But Disney has denied these rumors.

From Comingsoon.com: “Walt Disney Pictures [said] that there is no truth to these rumors,” said the site. “What we do know so far is that Mike Newell (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) is expected to start shooting Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time soon at Pinewood Studios in the UK and in Morocco as well. Jerry Bruckheimer instead is producing the film, which the studio is targeting for a June 19, 2009 release.”

Orlando currently working on ‘New York, I love you‘

Filming has started on a new movie set in New York based on ‘ Paris, je t’aime‘ which came out last year. It is a collection of short stories from various directors and some big names.

Orlando in possable ‘The Red Circle’ role

According to HollywoodReporter.com: Director Johnnie To has offered the part to Orlando, but nothing has been settled yet. The movie is to be a remake of Alain Delon’s 1970 crime thriller “Le Rouge Cercle.”
